If a Subject Guide, the name be consistent with the department, program or discipline name Examples:
If a General Purpose Guide, the name should be descriptive of the guide content. Examples:
- Ebook Collections
- Copyright
- Oral History Project
Assign a Type to your guide:
- Subject Guide: Choose this if your guide is a subject guide.
- Course Guide: Choose this if your guide is a course guide.
- General Purpose Guide: Choose this if your guide is not a course or subject guide.
Assign your guide to a Group:
- Course Guides: Choose this if your guide is a course guide.
- Subject Guides: Choose this if your guide is a subject guide.
- Library Collections and Services: Choose this if your guide is about a specific service or library collection.
- Digital Collections and Services: Choose this if your guide is part of DSS
- USF Health Libraries: Choose this if your guide is about the USF Health Libraries collections and services
Assign the correct template to your guide:
- Go to Guide Navigation Layout.
- Select System Side-Nav.
- Do not assign any tags to your guide
- Assign a subject to your guide
- Make a selection from the available subjects.
- In general, assign one subject.
- If the guide is interdisciplinary, assign up to three subjects. Select the most appropriate subjects.
Give your guide a friendly URL:
- Use lowercase letters.
- Do no use abbreviations, hyphens, or underscores.
- For General Purpose guides, create a URL that describes the content

- For course guides: use the course prefix and number.

Do not bold link titles using html tags.
Do not change the font size, style, or color.
