Post RCC Library Videos to Your Class in Blackboard

The RCC Librarians have made short videos using Panopto (video platform) that you can embed in your Blackboard class.

Provision Class with Panopto

To get started, go to your class in Blackboard and build a link to Panopto in the left-hand menu of your class. You will only have to do this one time for each class. To see how to do this, watch this video, “Provision Course with Panopto.” Or, use the instructions below:

  1. Select Tools in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select Panopto Content from the Tools menu.
  3. Select Configure.
  4. Select Add Course to Panopto.
  5. Select Return to Course.
  6. Refresh the page, and the Panopto Video link should appear on the left-hand menu.
Adding RCC Library Videos to Your Class
  1. Navigate to the folder or section in your class in Blackboard where you want to add the video.
  2. Select the Build Content dropdown menu from the ribbon.
  3. Under the Mashups section, select Panopto Video Embed.
  4. Select the dropdown arrow in the first box, under the “Select Panopto Videos” header.
  5. Select "Everything" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Search “RCC Library” in the search box to the right.
  7. Choose an RCC Library video and select Insert Video.
  8. The video will then be posted in your class.
